Having read some other good enough stories by this author I really didn't enjoy this one which felt as if it had been written just for the sake of writing a story without any particular great story line or purpose. Daughter dies, grandparents now mind children, adjustments needed on all sides...well yes, that would be normal I would think! Not sure it warranted a story. Very disjointed at times. And I really did not like the "stiff upper lip" approach portrayed by the grandparents. Their daughter had died for goodness sake, not just gone away..unrealistic, in my view. Wouldn't pass on even if I had a paper copy. As I say I have read and enjoyed other stories by this lady but not this one..Product details

Loved this book! It is Filled with hope for grandparents who are faced with having to raise grandchildren in today's world.
I can relate to this book my husband and I are also raising a grand child. We are going through struggles also. It is nice to read a book that you can relate to.
Depressing, I just couldn't get in to it and as such have not finished reading it. I never give up on a book but just can't red this one right now now maybe someday.
I really like this author. I've read two books now and will be ready more for sure.
This book is a very sweet and quick read even though the beginning was somewhat slow. I love the people in the book and the setting on the farm, etc. However, I really didn't like the part of the Grandfather. I hope to read the entire series.
The intertwining of teenage challenges, miscommunication between generations, and realities of country living will tug your heart strings, loosen your rear ducts, broaden your smiles and strengthen your faith

This book is good for young and old.For anyone who has lost a loved one to soon. All about keeping The Lord first in our lives and depending on Him for support, He wants to be our rock,our foundation.
